Spoiled by Grandpa

September 28, 2009

We are in Northern Kentucky visiting Tim's family. After leaving at 6 p.m. and driving through the night, we arrived at the farm about 3:30 a.m. and promptly went to bed. Family farm in KentuckyThe next day, Tim's dad aka Papaw who you may remember from our Beach Vacation 2009 as "The Bob-Father" took us on a tour of the farm where Troy got to sit on the tractor again.

It has been nine months since the last time he had been on the John Deere tractor. Papaw and Troy on the John Deere tractor in KentuckyThen we visited with Roscoe the puppy.Roscoe the puppyIt was lunchtime by now so we headed back to the house. Papaw had to make the customary peanut butter sandwich for Troy but shaped like a T. Papaw making a sandwich shaped like a TTroy eating his T-shaped sandwichI don't know if Troy will eat a regular sandwich again. I'm glad his name doesn't start with a complicated sandwich letter like a G or K.

funny, Maybe you can find a big cookie cutter shaped like a T to use. Who gets the rest of the sandwich?

What a good papaw your son has. My kids still like to ride the John Deere with my dad. It is the highlight of their visits.

Thanks for the follow! Your blog tips are great for an idiot/newbie like me.

That's exactly what Granparents are for, spoiling grandbabies rotten.

I tried Flashback Friday last week but had some technical difficulties. I'm going to try again this week.
