The Dog Whisperer

September 17, 2009

If my dogs could talk, what would I want them to tell me is a very good question.Sydney at Lake Anna

Sandy, Virginia BeachHere is what I'd ask our two labs, Sydney and Sandy:

Does Tim's snoring keep them awake at night too?

Do they ever wake up with a headache?

Do they wish they got presents at Christmas too?

What is their favorite meal?

Does riding in the back of the truck scare them?

Does the water out of the toilet taste better than what's in their dog bowl? Really?

Do you like to play with The Neighbors' dogs JD and Eli even though they drool and molest you?

What is the big deal about sniffing butts anyway? Sandy on float in Lake Anna
Then again, maybe I don't want to know.Three dogs on float in Lake Anna
Question inspired by Mama Kat's weekly writing workshop.

To Sydney I would ask "Does it tick you off when Sandy always has to butt-in when you are getting ear-scratches?"

Why do dogs bark when there's nothing there...or maybe I should reword that to How can dogs tell if another dog is two blocks away?

Great questions! I too wonder abut the sniffing butts and toilet water :)

It's best that you don't know.

Your dogs are adorable! I would ask my dog, "Why must you always be underfoot?"

I love labs and your post. I want to know why fetch is so exciting to them.

Cute! Not going to let my lab see it though, he'll be asking for a lake house. :)
