Tourists in Our Own Town

August 3, 2009

With my mother-in-law in town this weekend from Kentucky, we took a trip down to the oceanfront, where the tourists congregate, to walk among them.

Here is a slideshow of our walk.

Then we made a pit stop for some taffy locally made at Forbes Candies and headed back toward Chick's Beach for lunch where the locals hang.

Beautiful pics--and I love your window boxes. The potato vine looks great.

I've given your blog an award. You can pick it up at www.heartsandhands.blogspot.com.

Best,

Lori

It's so much fun to be a tourist in your own town. On the one hand you discover things you take for granted in your own backyard. On the other hand it's great to already know the good places to eat!
