A Favorite Thing

Another favorite thing around my house is my window boxes. Tim custom made them for me a few years ago after we moved into this house. 
Typically, *high* on warm Spring weather and buying flowers, I go crazy and fill the boxes with tons of flowers which due to me neglecting to water them, die a few weeks later.
This time, I Tim has been dutifully watering them and they are thriving. The dogs days of summer is upon us so I hope they stick around til Fall when I can kill plant something else in there for Tim to water.

I am bad about watering also, though I have been doing much better this year! Especially with the window boxes that never get to enjoy the rain water!
Okay, there's no chance that my husband would water flowers for me... let alone have the slightest clue as to how to go about making window boxes. Yours look great!
