One Kid's Bucket is Another's Kid's Outhouse

August 4, 2009

I speak of The Neighbors frequently and although we don't live next door to each other anymore, we live in the same neighborhood, less than a mile from each other.

On Saturday, we went over to see the newest neighbor, Ethan, and Troy immediately started playing with his big sisters, Alexis and Morgan.

Troy and Morgan decided to first get into the rabbit cage.Troy and Moe in the rabbit cage
Then it was on to the play equipment which I used a few months ago to demonstrate multi-tasking.
Troy and Alexis playingHe wanted to get into their slightly larger ghetto pool. Afterwards, Troy and Morgan decided it was more fun to dump water out of the pool with nearby cones and a bucket.

As we watched this unfold, their once dry clothes got more wet and eventually were removed. Then I saw this, Morgan sitting on the bucket in what we joked was her version of an outhouse. Troy and Morgan playing with water

Who says two-year-olds aren't resourceful?

I like it. What could be more fun than bunnies, wall climbing, and peeing in a bucket.
