Flashback Friday (Part 66) - Risky Business
August 6, 2010
Tim and I didn't go to high school together.
We didn't grow up in the same state.
When he was graduating from high school I was 10. He was 17.
Yesterday, he turned 42. I'm still only 27. It's called Deb Math.
He was a jock; his grades weren't steller.
I was in student council, on the honor roll and offered an academic scholarship before I graduated from high school.
It's a good thing we didn't meet in 1986.
For those who know the story, yes, we had sloppy joes and French fries to celebrate his birthday.
Now it's your turn.
Find an old picture like Cathy and share a story about it. Flashback Friday has no real rules other than to have fun.

I hope he enjoyed his sloppy joes and Hokie happy hour! Happy Birthday to Tim!
My flashback is up. It's very wordy. It's my blogs 1st birthday!!
I love sloppy joes..its his birthday, his choice. :)
I like Deb math, I use it myself :)
The heart knows no difference in age. Honestly, this made me feel better, but my relationship is the exact reversely. LOL
Happy Birthday to your hubs! Hope you all had a great time.
Love it...like Emily ALWAYS points out to JPK.... "mommys the smart one..." guess its true in The Thaxon home as well...xoxo
My hubby and I are about the same age difference as you two. It can be kind of funny sometimes. He will remember a movie from high school and I will say I could not see it since it was rated R.
Happy Birthday to the man!
Happy Birthday to your husband!
I like your math skills!
Sounds like a perfect birthday dinner to me... love his broad, broad shoulders.. hee hee.

Happy B-day to the hubby! Deb Math, huh...?
That's a little perky if you ask me. When I was 18 and graduating, my wife had turned 14 the day before... I mean my future wife. Heck, that's almost normal. Not really. But when I was 9, she was 5 and that's just gross.
Cheers,
Casey
Well, so your husband robbed the cradle huh? ~hehe~ It's okay cuz so did I. My husband is 7 yrs. younger than I. I decided I wanted to raise him to suit me. (Nah, just kiddin). ~hehe~ Thanks for sharing the cool pics. Have a great weekend. Already following you.
-->Just to be clear, Tim and I didn't meet til I was 22 and out of college.

Thats so funny - and its so like that a lot! I try to tell my son that people change and things dont seem the same when your older and ... its hard to get when your 19 :)
