Flashback Friday (Part 51) - The Birthday Ambush

Yesterday was my 34th birthday so this week's Flashback Friday is focused on my 29th birthday in 2005.


My friend and coworker Susana very easily coerced me to leave the office a few minutes early to go to happy hour. She was calling from the parking lot and said, come down now, Let's Go!


So, in my own daydreaming bubble, I snuck out walked quickly to my car and then realized something was not quite right.



Tim and The Neighbors had ambushed my car and filled it completely to the top with balloons.

Note the orientation of the photos, Chris, who I have warned you about before here, was literally laying under the car across the aisle so I didn't see him. Meanwhile, Caroline and Tim just ducked down behind a different car like normal people.
