2012: Hold Your Horses

Slowly falling back in the routine post-holidays mainly because the Christmas decorations that were so late in going up finally came down on Sunday.

The weekend before was New Year's and we spent it at The Neighbors' lake house just south of the border in North Carolina.

They had the 4-wheelers and horses ready to ride.




Chris got Troy ready to ride.


The dogs went swimming.


The sunset over the water was beautiful.


The fluids were flowing.





The BINGO cards were being passed around.


Then at some point, we hit midnight. But most of us were tuckered out, including Tucker.


The next day, after breakfast and mimosas, we went outside to shoot some guns.


Now there is one thing off my New Year's resolutions / bucket list for 2012.

Shooting a gun.
