When Bowling Balls Attack
November 14, 2011
Troy’s first soccer season ended on Saturday with Neighbor Chris as head coach and Tim assisting him. For their age group, they normally have 3 on 3 on two fields with the game running simultaneously. “Coach Uncle Chris” and “Coach Daddy” typically split up Neighbor Mo and Troy because they tend to be partners in crime.
They forgot to do this on Saturday.
During the course of the game, they were racing against each other on the field and holding hands and turning in circles while waiting to get back in the game. At halftime, they sat down to enjoy a snack.

Last night was the team’s end of the season party at the bowling alley.

Troy has never bowled besides on the Wii and it was fun to watch him try to lift the ball and get it down the lane.

Until the bowling ball attacked him.
He dropped the ball just before we were about to leave and it bounced up and caught him in the chin.

Six stitches later and one Junior Frosty™ purchased from Wendy’s, we were home.
When I asked Troy which he preferred, real bowling or Wii bowling he said, “Wii bowling because you don’t get hurt.”

Owie owie ow! Good thing Troy is tough. I think I'd stick with Wii after that too.
Oh poor baby, that really opened it up. I feel badly for him. :(
I didn't even know bowling balls bounced.
He's lucky it didn't knock out teeth.
Ya, he's still a pretty little guy for real bowling. That's too bad. :-(
Wow, that's a nasty looking cut. It will just make him more manly looking in the future ;)
He and his girl make an adorable couple
