Lucky to Live Here
August 2, 2011
On Friday, I took the day off and Carson, Troy and I went to the beach while Tim worked on a new fence around the pool equipment. We went to our regular spot on the Chesapeake Bay that is known for being a local’s beach. I've said it before, I'm lucky to live here.
On Saturday, after all the troops arrived from Kentucky near midnight, we spent the better part of the day staying cool in the pool.
Between sips of my new favorite drink, the John Daly, I took a few pictures with my phone.
Here is Cary's girlfriend Jane and Carson. If I don't look closely when walks by I call them by the wrong name.
Maybe that's the John Daly's talking.
Cary worked out with Troy a new pool move they called The Football.
Cary and Tim had a “sauce off” for the wings which they've done before here.
Needless to say, I was unable to sample the one with the homegrown habenero.
I like hot foods but not this hot.

THAT looks flaming hot. I'm the same way with food... give me heat, but not flames shooting out of my eyes and ears. LOL
I agree...we are lucky to live here...can't imagine NOT living on the coast...xoxo
Hi! Love your blog! Sounds like you guys have fun! My husband ordered something called "death sauce" off the internet! He was like oh it's not that hot try it! Yeah, as his lips are turning red! No thank you!

That football move looks seriously cool. I think he should go for as many flips as he can and then hit youtube.
