If We Were Lumberjacks, This Is How We'd Roll

July 11, 2011

One of my high school best friends, Sarah, came to visit this past weekend.

The last time we saw each other, she had recently disovered she was pregnant with her second child.
And here he is!

His initials are HAP and I like to refer to him as HAPpy. See how he smiles at me?

No it wasn't gas.

I think.

Sarah and her husband Alex bought us some new pool toys. It took many attempts for us to figure out how to get on and stay on.

Troy's devil horns were trying to come out. That was not something that I did in Photoshop.

It was easier for Troy and their older son Jack to sneak attack.

The usual suspects were over for a swim and dinner. We picked the garden and made kabobs on the grill.

It was a great weekend with "old" friends. Although we had a good time on their last visit as well.

Looks like an ideal summer weekend. Are those supposed to be inflatable logs? Like if Fred and Wilma had a pool party?

It's funny how black and white pictures are so much more interesting when there are lots of designs. Cute baby!

Total Fred Flinstone-ish! LOVE IT! Looks like an excellent party you had, and old friends are the BEST friends.

-->Yes, they're supposed to be logs hence the "natural wood design" on each one. Notice I didn't post the ones of me trying to get on the logs.
