Flashback Friday (Part 74) - We Hung Out
October 15, 2010
I mention The Neighbors a lot on this blog like here, here and here because we spend so much time with them and at one point lived with them in The Frat House for two months before we were married. We first met in 2001 after I bought a townhouse style condo a few blocks away from the apartment I had been living in for three years. There was another front door three inches from mine and a red-haired girl who looked like Molly Ringwald lived there.
I had been living there for about two months and the UPS guy delivered a package to Molly Caroline so I left a note on her door that I had it and to stop on by.
This was our first meeting.
We were instant friends after I introduced her to Betty, the kegerator. We drank many a few beers and she announced she was leaving for six months for work and asked if I'd watch her place and water her plants.
A week later she was handing me a key to her place and said, see you in six months!
When she came home, she came over to see us and Betty. It was then that we nicknamed her Wilson because of the gray sweatshirt she always wore and her nose was always behind a pint glass.

It was then that Tim got excited to show her the apron his grandparents made for him.

Now it's your turn.
Find an old picture like Cathy Has Antsy Pants, Lisa from Mommy's Nest and Laura at Vodka Logic and share a story about it and then email me so I can add a link. Flashback Friday has no real rules other than to have fun.

I remember that arpon...HAHAHA...LOVE IT!!!
You have the MOST fun life! Always makes me smile.
Ha ha! About 7 years ago we had a neighbor who had an apron like that. I think I screamed and then collapsed into hysterics the first time he wore it. So funny! : )
I love the apron. I was in a waiting room reading this and the old lady next to me was reading over my shoulder...she got an eyefull... love it.
Do you really have this much fun!? I aspire to be you when I grow up.
Awesome good time.
