Tapping Into our MacGyver Skills
September 14, 2010
Over Labor Day weekend, just like last year, we attended the Old Dominion University's opening football game. Unlike last year, I didn't see Mr. Subway to give him free beer or the soon to be elected governor of Virginia to give him beer either.
It was Troy's first college football experience and after running around the tailgate area, we headed to our seats in the stadium.
The sun was bright that day and although we had on sunglasses the rays were strong.
So we channeled our MacGyver skills and held up our hands.
My brother Mike decided to use Troy instead.
Not sure if the kid behind me in the black shirt is squinting or scowling.
If he is squinting then the man behind him is definitely giving me him the stink eye.

Everyone in that picture has got Melanoma written all over them.
If it was taken in California? There would be nothing but hats. And sunglasses. And umbrellas. And signs saying "Pass me the SPF 50."
I went to Texas! Gotta love college football games! I can't wait to be able to take my kids to one! I bet he had a great time!
