KISS This

After many, many years of the ghetto pool in the backyard, we decided to take the plunge and get estimates on an in-ground pool.
Last week, the latest person to give us an estimate also gifted us with VIP tickets to KISS on Friday night as well as Creed on Saturday night (which I gave away to my sister).
A quick phone call to my best friend Kim and she and her husband Pat were confirmed as our "plus two" for the show.
The VIP tickets included passes to the VIP bar before the show as well.
Having only seen KISS in concert on television, I knew that there would be a lot of pyro happening on stage.
I wasn't disappointed.
I saw a few people with their faces painted and to help us fit in, Tim bought us KISS t-shirts.
We are big fans of going to concerts and I can cross KISS off my bucket list of shows.
Already crossed out on the list: Dave Matthews, Duran Duran, Metallica, Billy Joel, Nickelback, Pearl Jam, New Kids on The Block, Rusted Root, Jewel, Zac Brown Band, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Three Doors Down, Puddle of Mudd, Jimmy Buffett, Beastie Boys, Creed, Sheryl Crowe, Cranberries, Def Leopard, Styx, Harry Connick, Jr., Hole (with Courtney Love), Counting Crows, Cracker, Foreigner, Journey and Goo Goo Dolls to name a few.

The first concert my son ever went to was a Kiss concert. He was too young to go alone (13, 14), so I took him. I think our ears have been ringing ever since! :)

We had a pool quote in Arizona of $60,000 and were going to have it installed but then out of the blue Hubby got a job offer in Virginia so we moved. I think I could have learned to love a pool like that! *sighs*

KISS is going to be at the MN state fair on Sept 4th...of course I'll be out of town.
I think I need to make a list of all the concerts I've been too. I have trouble remembering, so I should write them down. Super jealous of the Beastie Boys.
That's quite an impressive list you got there! I had the pleasure of seeing Zac Brown open for Dave Matthews this summer and that was an incredible concert experience, too. Have never seen KISS but they're definitely on my bucket list. Looks like you guys had a great time!!!
