Flashback Friday (part 58) - On the Hook
May 28, 2010
My sister-in-law Tina has been posting old pictures on Facebook and although I had seen this picture before of my husband, I stole it off her site.
Tim was about the age of 10 in the picture and living in Ohio. He caught this large mouth bass on a Tom Sawyer-like cane pole while he was fishing for blue gil. I believe my father-in-law wasn't home so my mother-in-law didn't know what to do with it at first and put it in the bathtub.

It wasn't til later that they found out it set a lake record and his picture was in the paper. I just love it because of the smile on his face and THE PANTS circa 1978.
Now it's your turn.
Find an old picture like Cathy and share a story about it or why you wanted to share it now. Flashback Friday has no real rules other than to have fun. Please share the link in comments to your actual post and not main blog for others to find you.
If you'd like the button, here's the code to include. There's a square option to your left as well.

Ahhh such a cute pic of your hubby! And a giant fish! I wouldn't know what to do with one either, but it's hilarious she put it in the tub!
Nice work Tim!! Love the pants! I'll be fishing this weekend, we'll see if I break any records! ha!
Check out my flashback. Went back to Memorial Day weekend last year...it's a good one!
What a cutie!! I am pretty sure I had pants like that. If I had a scanner I would upload a photo of me in my Hee Haw overall's for you :) Awww nuts...bummerski!
Heh Heh... LOVE the pants.... how 70's are those? I think one of my prom dates may have worn some just like that in 1972. HA!

Nice fish! Love those pants with the patches. I used to wear stuff like that too. Funny how drastically our clothes have changed for the kids now a days.
