Flashback Friday (Part 52) - Old Friends

I mentioned my friend Kay the Redneck recently in Flashback Friday 50. A few years ago she sent me some pictures of our childhood and this one made me laugh and laugh some more.
We are at her brother's house on the river in 1988, the same older brother she punched in the face years later.
Kay (on the left) was 13 and that scary girl in the glasses on the right is me.
We had the very popular wild print bathing suits on covered up by boxer shorts. In my ignorance of being 12, I thought I could brush out the come get me curls so they didn't interfere with my nerdy glasses.
I'm happy to report that the best money I ever spent was laser eye surgery nine years ago.

Happy FF! Whenever I pull out old photos, my memories of those days always outweigh the cringe factor. I love pulling out old albums.
haha...I have been thinking about the laser eye stuff lately as I need reading glasses now. Hate it!

I want laser eye surgery so bad! I had huge coke bottle glasses growing up. Now I wear contacts and haven't put on a pair of glasses in over 4 years. I refuse the scars run to deep! lol! anyway I Found you on Friday Follow. I hope you'll come stop by our chaos soon.
