Breakfast of Champions

September 1, 2009

On more days than not, Troy gets a small dish of cheerios before going to daycare. This morning his Dad gave it to him in a glass dish vs. plastic. I had just finished telling Troy, be careful because it will break and went to make his lunch. Earlier in the year, he would sit in a trance before the sun came up with his cheerios.

I come back to this. Cheerios all over the floor.

At least the dish didn't break.Troy with spilled cheerios

Then there was the ongoing collection process. Troy with spilled cheeriosThen the final "cheese" with his cheerios.

The last resort would have been letting the dogs in for a treat before we left. Vacuuming is So over-rated.

I miss my dog for that very reason. They are so handy when you are in a hurry...come home and the mess is gone.
Cats, which we have now, not so useful.

Oh yeah, dogs are the fastest cleaners going! And they don't miss a thing!

Were semi-training our two to "find it!" so their noses sniff out the pieces that fall where our eyes cannot see...

I can't tell you how many times I come downstairs after DH has left for work to find cheerios, goldfish, pop tart, etc. spilled all over the carpet in my family room. I've commented on how we need a dog, unfortunately my son and DH are allergic. I hate vacuuming too (also can never remember how to spell it. Thank god for spell check).

your son is so cute :) i don't have a dog because my son is asthmatic so what i do is remind my son that he needs to eat his cereals (with milk) on the kitchen table
