A Man's Slippers

We're a slipper family. If we're not barefoot and walking around in the warmer months you can bet money that in the winter months our slippers are on.

I personally have probably eight pairs of slippers and that is a conservative guess.

Tim has one primary pair and a backup pair he got for Christmas. He is quite fond of these slippers because they're "broken in" so when the front split open a few days ago, he took action.

I was nearby when I saw a flash of blue. Then I proceeded to laugh so hard that I had tears in my eyes. Most people would use duct tape but in this case, he used blue painters tape to close up the front of his slippers after glueing them shut.

He proceeded to pull off the tape after I took this photo.

I should add that the day we went to the dealer in mid-February, we were on the lot and looking at what would be my first brand new car when I realized that Tim was wearing shorts, t-shirt and a fleece...with his slippers. We bought a brand new car and my husband wore his slippers.
