Dogs Will Be Dogs?
April 8, 2009
At Alexis' fourth birthday party on Saturday at The Neighbors, everyone brought their dogs. At one point, we weren't even watching the three small children for entertainment but turned to the dogs.
The Neighbors have two dogs, JD, the rottweiler and Eli, the English mastiff.

That is Eli below on the right. This dog is huge. We have two labs, Sydney (chocolate) and Sandy (yellow).

Then there is my brother's dog, Rufus, the labradoodle puppy.

Where it gets interesting is that Eli is a year old and 175 lbs. Rufus is six months old and about 45 lbs. and neither are fixed...yet.
Caroline refers to male dogs getting fixed as having their pockets picked whereas a female getting fixed has her purse snatched. I doubt Bob Barker ever used these terms on TPIR.
Anyway, here is why you should get your male dogs fixed. Poor Sandy didn't even know that Rufus was breathing down her neck.

Then poor Rufus didn't know that Eli had prison-like plans of his own.

Not too worry, we were on top (ah-hem) of the situation and all was well seconds later.

Is this a face only a mother could love?

Dogs and kids. What better entertainment is there?
