The Difference between Boys and Girls

On Saturday, we grilled out and The Neighbors came over with their two little girls and my brother and sister-in-law joined us. There is a huge difference between how boys and girls play.

The Boys

Troy was immediately interested in splashing the water in the ghetto pool and getting all wet. His audience was his Dad, Chris, Mike and the neighbors' dogs, JD and Eli. Here is the scene.

The Girls

Meanwhile, across the yard, the girls were "playing."

That's the grill smoke blowing into the shot. Ana was reading a book to Morgan and Alexis. Morgan finally relented and headed to the ghetto pool with Troy.

For the record, I joined the boys and played horseshoes after putting my camera down.None of the boys wanted to be my partner, so Mike got the short straw. For the record, I scored a few points and we WON. Boys! Geesh...
