A Day at the Beach

This weekend had unseasonably high temperatures in the lower 90s so I took the opportunity to take Troy to the beach.
We go to Chick's Beach which is short for Chesapeake Beach because it's on the Chesapeake Bay. 
I like it because it's mostly locals and usually not too crowded.
Troy absolutely loved the "sand box" and putting his feet in the water despite the cool temperature of the water.
We had such a good time that we went back on Sunday for a couple of hours.
I'm really looking forward to many more trips to the beach this summer including our OBX vacation in Corolla, NC.
Am I the only one excited about a vacation this summer?

Those pics are cute. How did you do the black and white with just the little bits of color to it? I love that.
Oh, I LOVE the beach. Your pictures turned out sooo well. I love them. I bet your little guy was tired after all this fun stuff.
