Flashback Friday (part 10) - Oh, Canada

Growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC with a Canadian mother who is the 10th child of 11, we spent a lot of summers traveling to see our many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

A summer tradition was witnessing the Changing of the Guard at Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa.

My older sister, Tricia, carefully documented on the back of the picture what was happening.
