Back in August, I entered our bathroom remodel into a DIY contest with the local paper to try to win the $500 prize.
We didn't win.
Again.
I had entered our master bathroom remodel as well a few years ago.
However, they did run our story in The Virginian-Pilot a few weeks ago.
Again.
Here is the first story of our master bathroom remodel.

Nice work! We've done a ton of work in our house, hardwood floors, 2 baths, kitchen cabinets and granite. All done ourselves with the exception of the granite. We never would have been able to afford to do any of it if we didn't do our own labor. And don't tell anyone, but I kinda enjoyed the work. It feels so good to be able to look at it now and say, "I did that" doesn't it?
