Flashback Friday (Part 43) - Family Caste System
January 1, 2010
Tim and I drove to Troy, Ohio for a surprise anniversary party for his grandparents in December 2002. They were actually married on my birthday, March 11, so that added to the surprise. This year marked their 65th anniversary.
At the time, Tim and I were "just dating" and not engaged yet. When the coordinating individual family pictures were being taken, my father-in-law, Bob, also know as "The Bob-Father" declared that I needed to be "on the end" because he had to throw out too many pictures of people who "didn't work out" in the family. This way, he could just cut me off and still keep the picture.
Incidently, he told me that I was "officially" in the family shortly after Troy was born because I gave birth to a son.
Now it's your turn.
Find an old picture and share a story about it or why you wanted to share it now. Flashback Friday has no real rules other than to have fun. Please share the link in comments to your actual post and not main blog for others to find you.
If you'd like the button, here's the code to include. There's a square option to your left as well.
