Possible Halloween Costume and a Lesson in Recycling

December 31, 2009

Like many kids his age, Troy is fascinated with empty boxes. In preparation for a trip tonight to the Neighbors' lake house to celebrate the new year, Tim loaded up the cooler with beer.

The Coors Light box was nearby and after it was used as a basketball net first it transformed into a monster costume.

Imagine hearing the deep belly, MWaHa Ha Ha coming from the 3-year old in the box.

Of course, I did it first and chased him around the house.

The Coors Light monster is quite intimidating in his Clifford slippers.

We enjoyed a few cold beers out of the kegerator while we ate the slow smoked wings that were fried to seal in the flavor. I'm not much of a wing person but they were tasty.

What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Hey lady, Happy New Year! (I totally almost said "happy birthday." Oops.) Anyway, hope 2010 is a great year for you and your family. Our boy Luke (cat, not kid) does the same thing with Coors Light boxes. Except, he can't quite manage to walk around with 'em on his head. Maybe someday. ;)
