Flashback Friday (Part 45) - Everybody Loves An Irish Girl
January 15, 2010
I love St. Patrick's Day. I don't know if it's the green beer, the crazy outfits or everyone trying to get a kiss because they're Irish (at least for the day).
When I was a junior in college in 1997, I spent my spring break in London and stayed with my high school friend Amy who was there for the semester. We were in a pub having a pint and I went to the bar to order us another round of Guiness and Newscastle. After hearing my American accent a local British man said he was surprised I wasn't "Irish" by my appearance, naturally curly hair, freckles and very, very pale skin.
For Troy's first St. Patrick's Day in March 2007, we went to the annual parade in Norfolk. I have no pictures of him there because my memory card decided every photo was unrecognizable.
However, after the parade we went to The Neighbors house to drink non-green beer and play cards.
Tim thought it would be fun to pull on my pig tails.
Alexis wanted to wear the wig. Ironcially, my hair has looks rather straight for me so I'll blame it on hat head and the fact that Troy stole my Come Get Me Curls.
Later at the card table, CC and Chris paused for a moment.
Now it's your turn.
Find an old picture and share a story about it or why you wanted to share it now. Flashback Friday has no real rules other than to have fun. Please share the link in comments to your actual post and not main blog for others to find you.
If you'd like the button, here's the code to include. There's a square option to your left as well.

Funny pics! I love St. Patty's day too...mainly because I'm part Irish and can play it up that day.
Here's my flashback!
I'd play along, but it would negate my witness protection contract and they'd find me.
You guys have fun personalities! :)
