Why We're Parents of the Year

When your child has his first loose tooth it's only natural to talk up the Tooth Fairy and keep their expectations low by reminding them that we only got a quarter for the first tooth and then a dime for every other tooth when you were kids.

I had also added that the Tooth Fairy paid more on Saturdays but that was mainly because my parents were visiting last Saturday.



This past Saturday, we decided to take Troy's tooth out with a bang. Literally.

For the record, the Tooth Fairy paid $5 because it was the first tooth and Saturday.
